Customer Question

I have a 2009 dodge ram 1500. I disconnected the battery and connected it back and the a/c now only blows air from the bottom. It won't switch from bottom to vent or defrost. I know I probably blew a fuse I just need to know where it's located.

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.
What has happened here is the heater/ac actuators on the heater box itself have lost their programming/calibration settings when the battery was disconnected. What needs to be done is to have these re calibrated which will require the use of a scan tool that can plug into your vehicle and has the function control to do this calibration procedure. This usually takes less then a few minutes to have done.
Thanks Pete
