dodge dakota 2002 is there a fuel filter that is not in the fuel tank?

2002 Dodge Dakota 8 Cylinders N 4.7L MFI
According to autozone, The Fuel Filter is located: Under vehicle, center, below seating area, mounted on top of fuel tank, in fuel pump module.

Do you even hear the fuel pump run when you first turn the key to run?

If you don't even hear the fuel pump run, first check the fuse. Also, I found out that a combination fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator is used on all engines. It is located on the top of the fuel pump module. A separate frame mounted fuel filter is not used with any engine.
The fuel pump relay fuse is fuse #2 20A in the power distribution center.
