2006 dodge: 4.7 The water pump went out..truck runs..rough..cylinders

Resolved Question:

I have a 2006 dodge ram 4.7 The water pump went out. I have replaced it. The truck runs very rough like it is hitting on 3 cylinders instead of 8. Local parts store tested and said that #8 cylinder was miss firing. I replaced plug and coil. Still doing the same thing. The truck ran fine until the water pump took a dump.

CDJMasterTech :

You need to do a compression check on all cylinders. This will confirm that the mechanical components of the engine are functioning properly. This is the first step of ANY misfire diagnosis.
