Greetings and welcome to JA! I will do my very best to assist you with your problem.
Have you tried to jump start the car at all?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
No. The battery is a year to a year and a half old. When I got home from work it started. For the past couple of weeks it as been acting up when I try to start it. It has progressively gotten worse.
This morning it just clicked and never tried to turn over. Starter was the first thing to pop in my head.

Ok, to be honest it does sound like a starter issue if it has been eventually starting.
The starter is located in the front of the engine bolted to the bell housing.
It is pretty easy to get to on this. Here is a diagram to help!
