Thanks.....you have the 545RFE trans. With this combination of codes, the very first thing you need to do is inspect the trans filter to see if it is fully engaged into the oil pump and also check along the seams of the filter to see if it is split. A problem with the filter will certainly set these codes.

You'll need to drop the trans pan in order to do this.

if this is not the problem what could i be in for
Dodge Mechanic: Mopar Certified, Dodge Technician replied 8 years ago
Since there are no codes for the speed sensors........you are most likely looking at an internal failure that will require an overhaul..........but, filter problems are fairly common so at least check that first.

What Customers are Saying:

I AM VERY GLAD THAT I TOOK A CHANCE ON YOUR PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP. MY TRUCK RUNS LIKE A CLOCK. IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. NO LUNGING FORWARD, THE TURBO REACTS THE SECOND I STOMP ON THE GAS, AND IT HAS A LOT MORE POWER AND EVEN SOUNDS BETTER TO ME. IT SAVED ABOUT $500.00 BY DOING THE WORK MYSELF. I GIVE YOU ALL THE CREDIT FOR YOUR DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, JUST FROM THE SYMPTONS I GAVE YOU OVER THE e MAIL. I WILL USE YOUR WEB SITE AGAIN AND REFER MY FRIENDS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.
