engine light on codes are po 205 injector circuit open cylinder 5 and po 305 cylinder 5 misfire is it safe to drive to mechanic can see it

These p-codes are directly related. The P0205 is saying that the fuel injector for cylinder 5 isn't working correctly. The P0305 is saying that there is a "misfire" on cylinder 5. The misfire is due to the faulty injector. More than likely the fuel injector will need to be replaced, and that will cure both p-codes. As for driving the vehicle- i wouldn't suggest driving it very far. The misfire will hurt other parts/sensors in other systems (ie. the catalytic converter, oxygen sensors, etc). So to answer your question- it's ok to drive it a short distance, but too much driving will cause more problems.
