I've got a 89' B250...
I've got a 89' B250 Dodge van. 318 TBI/727.
The lock-up has quit working and the speed control acts a bit weird. Sometime it's drops, slowly, and sometimes it doesn't engages properly.
When I bought this car a few months ago, it was the same thing but after I did some other (unrelated) service on it (airfilter, oilchange, plugs and more) the lock-up came to life and the speed control worked flawless. Then, all of a sudden, it went back to it's old, non working, self.
The only difference I've noticed is that a "clicking"-sound, that I heard when it was working, isn't there anymore. It used to start "clicking", while driving about 40-50 mph and faster, from somewhere behind the dashbord as I moved the acceleratorpedal and the lockup "kicked in" somewhere between 45-55 mph.
Where should I start looking? I also get errorcode 37. Is the lockup soleniod broken or is it some kind or sensor or maybe the PTU-relay?

most commonly this is a faulty ptu relay or just bad connection .
