98 Dodge Ram 1500: I also have a 97 magnum 5.2 non egr engine..swap

This answer was rated:

I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 with a magnum 5.2 engine and I also have a 97 magnum 5.2 non egr engine. Can I swap the 97 engine to the 98 set up and how much of a hassle would it be?
You should find that the EGR is mounted on the intake manifold. So swapping the engines should not be a problem if you want to swap the manifolds as well.

The egr won't be a problem my 98 is non egr also. But do you know if the sensors or other eletric connectors are differen?
No problem with the swap for these years. Not much difference between the engines.
