how to replace brake line 1998 dodge ram truck
which brake line are you talking about?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
at rear beside gas tank, do i have to drop gas tank to replace, it is a rubber line

If it is the rubber part that has failed you do not need to remove the gas tank to replace it just unbolt the lines from it and replace it. Are you sure the metal line behind the fuel tank is ok it is more common for those to rust through and leak

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
do you mean up between the frame and tank, or rear of tank
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
is the brake fluid leaking from between the fuel tank and the frame rail?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
ok it is actually the meatl line leaking you can replace it without removing the fuel tank what you need to do is feed the line through between the tank and the frame rail from front to back it takes a little bit of time til you gets the bends right and get it in place but it is easier than dropping the fuel tank
