Good evening, Here is the information you requested:

REMOVAL

The duty cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid is located at left-rear side of engine compartment near power brake vacuum unit

1 - BRACKET NUTS (2)
2 - EVAP CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID
3 - EVAP SYSTEM TEST PORT (IF EQUIPPED)
4 - VACUUM LINES
5 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

  1. Disconnect electrical wiring connector at solenoid
  2. Disconnect vacuum harness at solenoid.
  3. Remove 2 support bracket mounting nuts.
  4. Remove solenoid and its support bracket from vehicle.

There were some mid year changes so I you dont see it there that let me know. The other possible location would be just behind the drivers side headlamp, beside the battery.

If this answers your question then please press ACCEPT. If you need more help then let me know. Thanks.

I'll have to check, I think I got it! But it would be helpful if you could send a pic of the entire motor and pinpoint the location some how. Either way I will search for it. I appreciate your help. Happy Holidays!!Laughing

Heres a pic of the connector where the purge solenoid plugs in around the battery and drivers headlamp area.

This the most likely location onthe 4.7 liter engine.
