How do i disable my 1997 Dodge Dakota Alarm System. I lost my clicker.

If your vehicle is equipped with theft it cannot be disabled. It is incorporated into the central timer module. However you can arm and disarm it by manually unlocking the driver or passenger door. Each door has a disarm switch that is activated when the door is unlocked manually. If I was you I would just replace the clicker. Most shops only charge half hour of labor. The part will probably cost more than the labor, but it shouldnt be very high. I'm just guessing, but you probably are looking at about a hundred bucks for this repair.
