2002 Dodge Grand Caravan....steering wheel shakes at low ...

This answer was rated:

2002 Dodge Grand Caravan....steering wheel shakes at low speeds, sometimes when braking, sometimes not.....just replaced struts, had all 4 tires spin balanced, alignment has been checked, brakes are good, tires are what??
Shaking in the steering wheel is usually from one of two or brakes and always from the front, not the rear.
You may have a broken belt in one of the tires causing it to shake, or you may have a slightly out of round rotor in the brakes. Quick diagnostic:
Rotate one of the front tires to the back, then drive it to see if it has changed the shaking effect. If so, you have just put the bad tire on the rear...if not, do the other side & see the result. If neither tire changes the result, then your problem is most likely in the brake rotors. Those overheat and warp ever so slightly, but will cause the same thing
