Customer Question

I've developed a cluster of bumps on my cheeks and around my nose in the last few weeks. I just finished taking minocycline a few weeks ago to clear up perioral dermatitis and it worked and it hasn't come back (yet). But all of a sudden I've been getting these clusters of small hard bumps on my cheeks by my nose and they're slightly red and somewhat spreading. Some of them look like they could possibly be white heads and pop but I tried with one about 2 weeks ago and it didn't actually pop at all and it made it looks worse so I haven't tried with any since then.

I've noticed they seem to get worse when I eat sugar as well.

These look like Sebaceous Hyperplasia or milia. Clogged pores with dead cells and sebum will also give a similar appearance.Avoid exposure to sun, excessive use of moisturisers ,use neutral soaps only washing and patting dry gently. No serious therapy is needed for these spots..

These look like Sebaceous hyperplasia and Milia.Clogged pores with dead cells and keratin will give a similar picture.Avoiding the sun ,excessive use of moisturisers and use of neutral soaps will help.Use of deep pore cleansers likeTretinoin cream,Salicylic Acid with Glycolic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide used in low concentrations will help with these conditions.
