Is my jock is healing or getting worse Over the last 6 weeks

This answer was rated:

Is my jock is healing or getting worseOver the last 6 weeks or so I have had a case of jock itch that really didn’t wanna go away. It wasn’t always itchy , but it hurt and felt prickly. Best way to describe was like peeling Velcro. For the last 2 days, I have changed to an antibacterial bar soap and have noticed the peeling sensation is gone, but there is some mild burning and itching.
I have used spornar 100mg for 1 week and 1% antifungal cream. I did previously use strong cortisone cream which I was adv to stop.Any ideas? Thanks

Here is a pic from yesterday

Thanks for all these additional information.

I understand your concern.

I have reviewed your picture.

Well if your peeling is reduced after taking such antibacterial bar soap spornar 100mg for 1 week and 1% antifungal cream then I would recommend to continue same treatment for 4 weeks.

Also

Now I would recommend some self care measures like
Do cool water sitz bath with betadine solution twice a day for 5-10 minutes.

And keep the area dry and clean.
Wear loose fitted cotton clothes to prevent friction.
Take OTC Motrin and Claritin for few days.

You should start a probiotic and multivitamin supplement.

You can frequently use OTC Abzorb powder when you have excessive sweating.
