These bumps showed up on my chest one day. I've tried a couple acne things to get them to go away but they are still there. What are they? Why are they there and how can I get rid of them?

I attached two pictures when I posted the question.

Thank you very much for the information provided.

These bumps on the chest are not Acne.

They are Pityrosporum ( Fungus ) folliculitis which would need Ketoconazole cream to treat the lesions.

You would also need to supplement the treatment with oral Fluconazole once a week for 6 weeks to kill the fungus.

Use the Nizral OTC Shampoo to cleanse the chest area during bath three days a week.

This can aggravate with sweating.
