Hi...I have been experiencing a burning sensation for about 3 days under the top part of my left arm. I decided to push around a little and it feels like little beads under my skin. Not on my right arm at all.
JA: How long have you been dealing with the skin issue? Have you noticed any major changes in your overall skin or nails recently?
Customer: Just over the past 3 or 4 days. Nothing new in skin or nails.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: 2 mints ago I had a lump aspirated at the back of my neck thinking lymphoma at the time. Non conclusive...keep an eye on it...finding

Burning on the outside of the arm like you mention, can be a symptom of a trapped nerve in the neck causing a sensation of burning. So I think that the burning could be nerve related.

However, I would like that you should keep an eye on it for a week or two.

If your symptoms persist beyond that period of time I would recommend that you should have a MRI of the neck to rule out a pinched nerve.

It feels more like an it motivation I had about 20 years prior to shingles developing.
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Sorry misspell. ...like an irritation
Expert:  Dr. SH replied 7 months ago.

Irritation or burning is typical of nerve related problems.

So I think it could just be that.

Which part of the body did you have shingles in?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Left side side of spot above rib and in this same area
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
In this same area under arm I mean as well as under armpit above rib
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
The thing bothering me is that I feel these bead like spots now though
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
In addition to burning
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
The bead pea feeling like mumps is nothinges to be concerned about with this burning?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Not mumps but rather bead like little lumps inside the skin
Expert:  Dr. SH replied 7 months ago.

Bead like spots is not something to worry about as this indicates fat under the skin.

I think this is not related to the burning.

I, think however, that the shingles that you had previously could be the cause of burning.

If severe, treatment of this sensation is with nerve pain medications like pregabalin.
