I've been using both Noritate and Differin gel on a daily

Customer Question

Hi,
I've been using both Noritate and Differin gel on a daily basis for about six years now to treat my acne and rosacea (I'm a 25yo male). I was wondering if repeated use of these medicines can lead to wrinkling or saggy skin? If so, should I look into "downgrading" to less intensive topical treatments?
Many thanks for your help

Long term use of these agents can cause scaling, dryness an burning of skin. The normal texture of skin can be lost as well. So there can be features like wrinkling as well. You can discuss with your dermatologist about this and also if your current situation permits a switch to other drugs which can be effective in these situations.

Good luck
