Rashes are itchy too.

This is Dr. David

yes, heat rash can do this,

viral infection can cause rash like this

anxiety can cause you to itch and scratch which can cause red skin

eczema reactive skin can do this as well.

is it hot weather where you are?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not too hot actually, mid 70s to low 80s. Never had this happen to me before. I do have sensitive skin, and did pickup a few bug bites on my legs, but none near these areas. My friend told me itchy legs are a sign of lymphoma?! Got my anxiety ramped up!Saw a chiropractor Friday night. Could that do this?Do feel ill, virus of skin??
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Never had eczema before. These areas have been always good. Rarely itch.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Do not feel ill! Sorry
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

you don't have lymphoma

if you feel ill, viral infections can cause skin rash.

most likely that is what is causing the rash.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Don't feel ill, nothing at all. Had a small sore throat week ago, but that was minor.
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

I see.

most likely you are just having some sensitive skin and eczema reactive skin

try some 1% hydrocortisone cream on your skin twice a day and see if that helps decrease the itchiness and the rash.

No trip to ER needed? Should I call my local dermatologist? When should I worry?
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

no, trip to the ER needed.

you can always call your dermatologist

you may have to wait until Tuesday to reach your dermatologist.

you have bad anxiety symptoms

you don't need to look for more things to worry about at this point.

I see nothing which is serious or dangerous at this point.
