Customer Question

I have had a raised skin near my genital region for sometime now and was just concerned if it's something serious. It does not bother me or itch.

Hello!

That is just a benign nevus = a mole ...

It is harmless

No reason for concern...

It would be easily removed by a dermatologist if it bugs you for any reason

I hope that this is helpful for you

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns

I will be happy to get back with you

If my answer has been helpful and to your satisfaction then please remember to leave positive feedback

Thank you and Best Regards,

Family practice ...our residency training does include dedicated segments just to dermatology as well but true I am not a specialist ...I have seen many such nevus ( mole ) type lesions as you present in your photo however ..I have no doubt or reservation as to these being harmless in nature....
