Hi. This is a bacterial infection called impetigo. Should resolve in a week or so with treatment. You can read all about it here: would recommend the following:1. Fucidin or Mupirocin ointment (you would need a doctor's prescription for either) applied 4 times a day2. 1% cortisone cream applied twice daily if there is any itching If the above treatment fails to clear the infection, taking a 1 week course of flucloxacillin 1gm 4 times a day should help. Do not worry. This is nothing serious. Hope this helps. Do keep me posted & get back if you have any further questions or feel that I have missed out anything. I will be here to provide ongoing advice as necessary. Best wishes.

Can I do at home remedies? How long will it take without prescription medication?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I woke up with about 6 new ones.... Should I be worried

No home remedies won't work. If it is spreading, definitely would recommend getting the antibiotic straight away

Okay, and this should last about a week? With antibiotics? If I don't get antibiotics then what?
Expert:  Dr. S. Attili replied 1 year ago.
yes, about a week. Well without antibiotics, the infection can spread and cause fever/ sepsis, making you unwell (worst case scenario). Ofcourse your immune system may be able to fight it off. But I would rather not chance it, as that is very rare!
