Customer Question

For the last month or so, flat, non-itchy pink spots have been appearing on my torso. Most are small (pencil eraser size). They are not scaly, dry, or bumpy. They are not going away, but more are slowly appearing. They are mostly on my stomach, back, and a few on my breasts. I have not started any new skin care products at the time they began. I've tried Benedryl cream and hydrocortisone cream each for a day or two, but they don't seem to have an effect.

Hi Dr. Thomas,Actually, this morning, I tried the Benedryl cream again, even though it didn't seem to work a few weeks ago. This time it really worked well. About 8 hours later I looked and most of the spots are gone or faded quite a bit. I'm going to use it until they are all gone, and I have an appointment in two weeks for allergy testing. So, if they come back, hopefully I'll have a better idea what is causing them. Thanks for checking!

If that worked, hives are likely.

Often allergic.
