How can you tell if you have hives or another skin problem

Hives are usually welts over the body. In most cases they are usually round or map-like. They are generally covering various areas of the body. Itching can be morning and night. Scabies is usually in certain locations such as in the finger webs, elbows, groin. Itching is usually increased at night. Often other members of the family might have itching with scabies. Hives are more individualized.
