This is Dr. David

there is not one best medication for eczema.

for some patients, a steroid cream is needed to help calm down inflammation of the skin.

there are mild steroid creams over the counter like 1% hydrocortisone which can be safely used for 1-2 weeks

there are also stronger steroid creams your doctors can prescribe you as well.

cetaphil is a regular moisturizer without steroid in the cream.

have you tried any steroid creams for eczema yet?

have you seen a doctor about your eczema?
