Customer Question

My 17 year old daughter has suffered from cystic acne which has left her skin (cheeks especially) with a lot of scarring. What is the best approach for us to help her? I can't afford to pay $100 for a consultation at a dermatology clinic and end up with no real help. Please advise

3 months only is not going to have a permanent cure to cystic would need ongoing treatment...

She could benefit from a topiical program such as over the counter Proactive ...

Your primary care doctor would usually be less expensive than a dermatologist...

Probably best benefit to be had for the acne with combination of topical regimen plus an oral antibiotic such as Doxycycline or Keflex however...
