In the days following up to the development of this rash I have been overly tired, and running a low grade fever between 99.7-100.3

I do not have diabetes, nor do I have a family history of diabetes. I don't seem to have any blisters, but it feels rough to the touch and where the rash is peeling or flaking off it does seem a bit oozy.

I tried over the past 24 hours to use an anti itch cream with 1% hydrocorizone cream as well as gold bond cornstarch baby powered which has zinc oxide, topical starch, and kaolin in it

Should I make a doctors appointment for tomorrow or is this really nothing to worry about?

Thank you very much for the information provided.

Is there a lump below the area of redness?

This looks like an irritant contact dermatitis in the area.

Have you taken any Claritine or Benadryl tablets to help with the allergic manfiestations?

You would also need an antibiotic application and oral antibiotic to prevent the secondary cellulitis or abscess.
