The skin on my forearm this morning became very sensitive and a little painful to touch. What's up with that?? No noticeable rash.

It could be from any number of reasons.
Contact sensitivity to a chemical.
Early shingles...your doctor would need to be seen if this persists.
Neuropathy, such as from disc problems in the cervical spine, or other causes.
