I have orange peel skin on my chin. This is due to enlarged pores. Is there any cure?

The enlarged pores are a result of photoaging. Here is what will help:

1. Retin-A 0.025% cream applied as a very thin film over the affected area once before sleeping at night.

2. SebaMed SPF 50+ sunscreen use twice a day (8am , 2pm). If this is not available then any SPF 50+ sunscreen will do.

3. Tab Biotin 5 mg once a day for 3-6 months.

Benefit will come slowly but should be noticeable within 3 months of starting the above regimen.

Other options for decreasing pore size are chemical peels, microdermabrasion and nonablative lasers.

An oral med that has an excellent effect on pore size is Accutane. But this is only tried if the regimen I have detailed above fails after 3 months of regular use.
