You need oral antihistamines such as diphenhydramine (eg, Benadryl), hydroxyzine (eg, Atarax), chlorpheniramine, brompheniramine, fexofenadine (eg, Allegra), loratadine (eg, Claritin), desloratadine (eg, Clarinex), or cetirizine (eg, Zyrtec).

You can also apply cool compresses locally.

The other option would be to use topical corticosteroids.
