The best way to get teeth whitening done is by a dentist in a dental office. This takes the least time (only a single appointment or maybe two) and the dentist is completely responsible for the results and the safety of your teeth and gums. The reason I say this is that whitening involves the use of some strong chemicals like carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide which can harm your gums and teeth of used incorrectly.
I don't recommend the DIY kits at all. They are largely dependant on how you use them and results vary widely.
Also always remember the basics of teeth whitening. It doesn't last forever. Teeth will always because of all the wonderful things we eat and drink everyday. You have to get whitening done repeatedly.
