I have a couple hard bumps on the lower gums behind my front

Customer Question

i have a couple hard bumps on the lower gums behind my front teeth. They don't hurt, but worrying me.
JA: Are you experiencing any swelling? Do your gums bleed when you brush or floss?
Customer: they used to but after using extenisve mouth wash and brushing over the past couple weeks they dont bleed unless i really scrub or floss hard. Also the bumps seem to be symmetrical, meaning they are on both side of my gumline
JA: Please give me a bit more information, so the dentist can help you best.
Customer: the bumps are hard and pointy. little discoloration

What you are describing sounds like mandibular tori. These are benign bony growths. Do yours look at all similar to this picture?
