I have tingling around my mouth, lips and jaw? does that

Customer Question

Hello. I have tingling around my mouth, lips and jaw? does that mean anything?
JA: Have you noticed any recent swelling? Do you have any tooth pain?
Customer: Not tooth pain but have not been to a dentist in years. Sensitivity with hot and cold. But have not had either. It started this morning off and on but no pain.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I do have high blood pressure

Well, sometimes tingling in the oral cavity area can be the onset of an outbreak. Not sure if you suffer from cold sores, but the tingling is typically the first symptom felt before cold sore lesions present. Of course a proper examination of you would be needed in order to determine if it was something else.
