I have a crown that moved into an uncomfortable position.

Customer Question

I have a crown that moved into an uncomfortable position. can the crown be removed or adjusted even if it has permanent concrete?

Your dentist will first need to evaluate what caused the crown to move. But, if a crown and the underlying are in good condition, it can often be removed even if it has been permanently cemented. This will be determined by your dentist after inspection. It can also be adjusted if the crown contacts the opposing tooth in an uncomfortable way.

Please let me know if you need additional information to answer your question. Otherwise I would appreciate a positive rating for my effort.

Be well,

Dr Shernan.
