Customer Question

Hello. I have a bump on my inner lip which appears to be white. It's kind of painless except I might of opened it with my teeth causing some pain. EIther way, I've had this bump for about 2-3 weeks and it doesn't seem to be going away. Any thoughts and suggestions on what this could be? I can share photos if you wish.

Hello: I've attached the photo for your review. It feels like a lump when I touch it. Again, I opened it up with my teeth so it might be healing a little. Please let me know what you think?

This can be a benign [harmless] glomus tumor

Or a cyst.

It would have to be removed in either case, or drained if a cyst.

I would see an internist or dermatologist.

OK, so that is an initial answer….
