Great question, let me help you.
are you here
Yes, you can use Cipro for a tooth abcess, but the #1 recommended type of antibiotic is Amoxicillin
If you have Cipro at home, you can go ahead and take it. If you don't feel like the infection is going down, then stop, call your dentist, and have a Rx of Amox called in
Any other questions?
did you get my response
yes. Thank you
Anything else I can help you wiht?
no. I had Cipro on hand and wanted to verify it would work.
You should get your tooth root canaled or extracted if you want to remove the infection for good
That's what I thought
Go ahead and use it, it can't hurt
i hope to after i get over this. but when it doesnt hurt, i put it off.
evaluate your symptoms though - if they don't get better, then stop taking it and call your DDS for a Rx of Amox
ok. thank you.
i hope you get feeling better
Have a good day
