I am the victim. I emailed the ADA/supervisor who was present in court at the last court proceeding pertaining to my case. I asked him basic info about my case, ie; the names and contact info of the other ADA's present in court, on other dates concerning my case. His emailed reply stated that he was not at liberty to divulge that info to me. Some weeks later, having forgotten that I emailed, and asked, and he responded, which in my opinion is understandable that I forgot, given the information I requested being so basic in nature, I emailed him with the same question. His emailed response was terse in its tone, in that he said I kept repeating myself and I should review the past emails where he already provided written response And, that he would no longer communicate with me via emails. If I emailed him a question in the future, he would respond by calling and if I didn't answer he would leave a voicemail. After reviewing past emails, I responded that I forgot he answered my question about wanting names and contact info of the other ADA's because I felt I was entitled to know such basic info about my case. After sending him that response he called my phone soon after, and I answered, and he said that he was not giving me the other ADA's names and contact info because he wasn't going to have me going after them the way I've been coming at him. So, I said, then the email you sent saying you were not at liberty to reveal that info, isn't the case, and that the real truth is your simply not going to tell me the info. And he responded, yes that is correct. So therefore, he lied in that email saying he was not at liberty. So, my question to you is, what can I do about the fact that he outright lied to me, and also refuses to provide basic in nature information concerning my case? And don't tell me to contact the DA's Victim Services Unit, because they won't even tell me who the Victim Services Coordinator that's assigned to my case. Surely telling a lie to a Crime Victim by a Supervisor/ADA/ Prosecutor can't be tolerated.
