Sure, and my advice would be the same even if you were still in the state. Hire a traffic lawyer in the city/county the ticket is in. You can find one on a lawyer review/rating site like Avvo for your specific area. The lawyer can go to the judge and try to find out what is needed to get the warrant lifted and get it lifted without you personally appearing. MY advice would be the same even if you were in the state as you risk arrest at the courthouse anyway.
The warrant is for failure to appear in court, not unpaid fines, so that likely can be easily remedied here via your lawyer appearing
