Hello, I have been in Turkey for the past 6 months... my trip had been olanned months before I got arrested for misdemeanor shoplifting... I got sentenced to probation never showed up,as my flight was to leave the same week I was supossed to report... so I just left and failed to report it would b my first VOP, had I did 18 more days in jail I’d have no probation.... I’m 44 years old, first time I’ve ever left the US... I had a public defender I served 12 days, he spoke with the prosecutor and they agreed on a 263.00 fine and 12 months reg prob. I accepted and got out that day.. the judge, because I do have a record, imposed 18 months probation, evaluations, which was not what my attorney and prosecutor had agreed on... yes I shoplifted... I was married for 17 years, my husband kidnapped my then 12 year old son, beat me for 17 years, left from our home in PA, without my knowledge, emptied our storage unit containing every article of clothing and memorabilia of mine from the past 17 years.... I had nothing... moved in with my dad, got a job, and made a stupid decision to take a few outfits to wear to my new job..... I have 100’s of emsiks of him admitting everythjng... my mom had just died and my sister... and I never got to say goodbye to my now 14 year old son.... I didn’t take the items for drugs, but because of situations in my past the judge assumed that.... I graduated 5 years of drug court, I’m not on drugs and I desperately want to fly back to the US.... it’s so different here and I miss my family..... obviously it’s an international flight..... originally the charge was out of Essex County NJ, but it got transferred to Passaic County, NJ, as that is the county I live in.... my question is when I land at JFK, wil I be arrested and is there anything I can do to rectify that....my dad is81, has had 2 heart attacks and he’s the only parent I have left... please let me know if customs arrests anyone with a warrant or are they primarily concerned with individuals with felonies and federal warrants...... this fir yiur time

I got sentenced in June 2019, but never showed up the deal was 12 months but the judge gave me 18.... I take medication legally and have not done any illegal drugs since my mom died... prior to that it had been 12 years

Yes, I got my transfer prior to me coming to turkey

Well unfortunately a friend smashed my iPhone X so I can only chat.... I cannot make phone calls .... if you give me his phone number, when my friend comes home I wil use his phone to contact the attorney.. I know it’s Christmas, so I won’t bother him today... but give me a phone number and a good time to speak to him tomorrow and I wil call him at whatever time is best for him
