VerifiedYes, but that is unlikely if there is enough evidence to convict you. I would get an attorney that may be able to help you get a decent plea bargain. The Judge has the power to agree to drop the charges or lower the offense to a different charge but again, there is no reason to do so if this is an open and shut case. It is likely as a local ordinance that this fine is all they want anyway. A local attorney that knows the Judge would not likely be too expensive and could be greatly helpful.

It is possible but MUCH more likely if you have an attorney. I would speak to the prosecutor on your case to see if you can work out a deal if you do not get an attorney. If this is a local charge I would guess, you would be fined and that would be the full extent of it but it will be a misdemeanor.
