A lawyer doesn't charge someone with larceny. Larceny is a crime. To get criminal charges pressed, you report the crime to the police and the state prosecutor takes the case on behalf of the victim and all of the other people of the state.

If this is not what you mean, you will have to explain why you have a lawyer and the nature of the case against you.
