Instead of charging you with speeding which would have involved a fine, points, and the possible suspension of your licene, , the officer that cited you cut you a break. The section under which you were charged is § 6110. Regulation of traffic on Pennsylvania Turnpike.

This is a summary offense, which is considered something less than a crime in Pennsylvania. The offense carries no points and requires no suspension of your license. There is only a small fine. You could, of course, go in and challenge the ticket, but as this is not something that should cause your insurance to rise and not a very costly ticket, you may not want to bother.
