My name is ***** ***** I am an experienced criminal lawyer.
The Department of Corrections keeps the official calculations and determines when an inmate is eligible for release. Since their formulas are frequently a mystery and since a criminal lawyer's obligation to a client terminates at his sentencing, they do not have much at all to do with sentencing issues.
Corrections ought to be able to tell you the inmate's probable release date. That's your best source.
