Customer Question

I'm planning on going to nursing school. They require a level 2 background check. As a 14 yr old minor I had a record expunged. Will this show up? It's been almost 20 years

My name is ***** ***** I am an experienced criminal lawyer. Thank you for requesting me.
Information from an expunged criminal record is not disclosed on a background check. However, in some instances, the fact that there was an order of expungement will get disclosed.
You can see in Florida Statutes Section(###) ###-####4), the section called EFFECT OF CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD EXPUNCTION, when the fact of the expungement will be disclosed. If those exceptions do not apply, then your juvenile matter will not turn up.
