I do not live in California. While I was in a rental

Customer Question

Hello. I do not live in California. While I was in a rental car for work, I got two tickets. One in 2010 and another in 2011. All future information was sent to the wrong address. I lived in NY all my life, and my wife and I just moved to Massachusetts. I was denied a MASS license, and I owe about $1500 for two tickets. I just paid both. How long will it take for those courts to report the payment and clear me with the DMV so I can get a MASS license?

Thank you for your question. I look forward to working with you to provide you the information you are seeking for educational purposes only.
If you paid the ticket it takes 7-14 days for CA to enter it into the system and for MA to be able to see it. CA DMV moves slowly unfortunately and the clerk has to notify DMV and they have to then enter it into the database and most times it can be 3 days or so, but on average it is 7-14 days.
