Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. I would like to assist you with you question today.
G.S. 20-294 sets forth the grounds for denying a license. Subsection 9 prohibits for the following reason:
Being convicted of an offense set forth under G.S. 20-106, 20-106.1, 20-107, or 20-112 while holding such a license or within five years next preceding the date of filing the application; or being convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude under the laws of this State, another state, or the United States.
So unfortunately you will not be able to obtain a dealers license.
I hope that I have answered your question. Please let me know if you have more questions or need more information.
