VerifiedThe applicable statute of limitations for this type of incident is ten years from the plaintiff's 21st birthday (which, of course, would be their 31st birthday) or 3 years from when "the plaintiff discovers, or reasonably should have discovered, that the injury or illness was caused by childhood sexual abuse, whichever later occurs."
So it sounds like you're in the clear unless the plaintiff could show that they didn't discover and should not have reasonably discovered that they suffered injury or illness before 3 years from the filing of the civil petition.
