It is unlikely that you will go to jail unless you get stopped by the police for some reason, and they discover that you have an active warrant. I'm not sure why your warrant hasn't been discovered up to this point, or why your arrest record shows the disposition as inactive if there is an active warrant.
The only way you can resolve this matter is to contact the court that issued the warrant and face it head on. Unfortunately, a warrant is not something that will just go away if you ignore it. Eventually, you'll have to deal with it, and it's better to do it sooner than later. For instance, you wouldn't want to be driving in another state, get stopped for going a few miles over the speed limit, and have the officer discover that you have an active warrant -- that could be very inconvenient for you.
