TexCrimLawyer, J.D. :

How did you become aware of it?

Customer:

A friend received a letter from them.

TexCrimLawyer, J.D. :

Is this about reducing the sentence of a person in prison?

Customer:

yes

TexCrimLawyer, J.D. :

Give me one minute to look a couple of things up...

TexCrimLawyer, J.D. :

This is most likely a scam. They target people serving long prison sentences and attempt to get their money to reduce the sentence. In reality, there is very little after the sentence is pronounced that can be done to reduce it.

TexCrimLawyer, J.D. :

Sadly, they appear to be preying on the hope family and friends of a person serving a prison sentence may have of seeing the person released sooner than expected.

Customer:

Thank You I concur.
