out of town for 40th bday...house broken into...marijuana in

Resolved Question:

out of town for 40th bday...house broken into...marijuana in all trash cans...on back porch (no fence) ...police charged me with possession and abandoned burglary charge...person with a vendetta...never investigated. things missing from house...rings, radio, blankets,even a mango and a half of pan of lasagna...arrested and booked on possession of less than an ounce of weed...took my gun, said that it was unsecured. warrant for blood hair and urine immediately. happened 2007 in ga...no court...haven't heard anything since arrest...what are my rights? what is the statute of limitations for this?

yes...they came to my job to arrest me...my principal dropped me off to the jail...embarassed and humiliated

I understand, however, the courts say that one does not have a constitutional right to not be arrested. I kid you not.

 

Fortunately, the system worked in the long haul and you were never charged.
