They have a son Nathan who lives with Kaysie, who is 2 years old

David has only been involved in Nathan’s life only for the last 5 months. David also has a daughter, Mya 5 years old from a prior marriage. Kaysie also has another boy, Dameon, 7 years old.
Both David and Kaysie are going to college, they plan on getting married in the near future.

David had come down on Thursday October 29 to spend the weekend with Kaysie and the boys, Mya was with her mother in MI . On Halloween, they planned on going trick or treating, which they did, they were also going to spend the night at a friend of Kaysie’s on the 31st lady by the name of Ruby.

Kaysie and Ruby went and got some alcohol and the 3 of them after putting the kids down for bed, sat and talked, also drinking.
Nathan woke up and Kaysie was trying to get him back to sleep and was having a hard time with him, he wouldn’t lie down. After a while David went in and told her if she couldn’t get him to quiet down and back to sleep that he would take over and get him to.
She replied that she could do it.
David again said that he would do it if she couldn’t. At this point they got into an argument over it and then Kaysie stated maybe it would be for the best if he left for the night.
David then got his coat and was leaving. He got to his car and he didn’t have his car keys so he went back to the house and tried to get back in to get his keys. The door was locked so he knocked and they wouldn’t answer the door. So he knocked louder and was calling Kaysie by her name. He was trying to tell her that he needed his keys. Finally she did answer the door, he got his keys and then Kaysie informed him that she had called the police because he was making such a loud noise and yelling her name, so he had better leave before they got there.
He went to his car and started it; the front window was covered with frost so he was revving the engine to warm it up to defrost the window.
Kaysie then came out to his car and put is backpack in the backseat, he told her that he was going to go back to MI or to a motel. But then he realized that because of drinking he probably should not behind the wheel of his car when the police arrived so that he wouldn’t get arrested for DUI. So he got out of his car and was waiting for the police to explain what was going on.


He was going to smoke a cigarette, but then realized that he had also forgot so he went back to the house to ask Kaysie to get them for him. He went to the house and instead of knocking on the door, he used his cell phone to talk to her, at this point the police arrived and yelled for him to come to the patrol car with his hands in the air. He then patted David down and placed him in the patrol car. The officer then went and talked to Kaysie to see what was going on. He talked to her then came back to the car and placed handcuffs on David, the cuffs were placed in front of him not behind his back. At no time did the officer ask David what was going on. The officer then had his car towed from the property. David asked instead of towing could they just park it out front on the public street, he was told no.

David was taken to the city police department. Where he was booked on disorderly person and public intoxication. At no time was he asked to take a breathalyzer. He finally asked for one and they gave it to him he blew .052
David later found out from Kaysie that the officer said they would take him to jail and release him after 6 hours. She did not want to file a complaint, she told the officer that they both had been drinking and that she just wanted him to leave for a while.
At no time did David get loud or cause the officer any problem obeying all of his commands and answering with respect, with yes sirs and no sirs. David’s father was a police officer in MI and was taught to respect police officers and not to disobey them or disrespect them. He was also taught if he did have a problem with a officer that there was a way to handle it. The arresting officer did make remarks that he have more importation things to do and that he didn’t get paid enough to put up with this crap in the middle of the night.
David was held at the city jail and was bonded out NOV 2, 2009
