In what State are you located?

I am in Connecticut. My situation is that I was intoxicated, blacked out, crashed into a guardrail. I was on probation for 2 years, completed VIP, had license restored after 18 months. Is driving record automatically "clean" after 5 years or do I have to apply after 5 years?

Sorry for this confusion

If you were convicted, you cannot have your record expunged. That can only be done in Connecticut when you have been acquitted or the charges dismissed.

About the only way you can get a conviction expunged is to get a pardon from the Governor.
